  <title>Anger-A Powerful Tool for Keeping Others Away</title>
  <description>If an individual is acting explosively to limit setting or if the individual has lost control of an event or situation. Many persons who have experienced trauma use anger as a means to express that they feel unsafe, have lost control of a situtation or the person may feel they are being rejected or hated which creates a sense of shame for them.  The anger can happen so quickly that without a well trained eye the 1-2 seconds of âsoftâ feelings can be lost in the powerful âbigâ reactions of anger.  These âsoftâ emotions are the ones that parents must look for before the outburst.  Without the well-trained eye of the parent anger can be a powerful way for the child to keep from healing.</description>
