<reviewbody>Taper never claimed that his 16bit version was up on LMA. He only wrote that a 16bit version(s) already exist. Same goes w/ Levon Helm who is not LMA friendly or normally taper friendly for that matter. He only states that he archived the show but never once says that he is sharing his version w/ other peeps.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>Phil shows for me these days are more set list driven, if he plays the jam tunes then he comes through in spades, otherwise there is a tendency towards stand alone songs. this show does have a very nice set list and is quite well played with some good jams and guitar work, especially in the Help>Slip>Franklins.

Soundwise this is a hard one to call. It is a superb 24 bit recording but there is just something that sounds a little different about it. I think perhaps the balance is off a little bit (from the band, nothing to do with the taper) or the stereo presentation is different. Phil is up in the mix, the midrange seems a little recessed and the cymbals don't really splash the way they should. Still a fine 24 bit recording and well worth the download.

Remember, it's just my 2 cents.
